The Nigerian Network Operators Group (ngNOG) has announced Monday 26th to Friday 30th October 2020 for this year’s edition of the ngNOG Conference and Workshop in Lagos, Nigeria.

The ngNOG conference provides a multi-stakeholder engagement platform where mobile network operators, Internet service providers, Infrastructure providers, Government regulators, End users and Security agencies come together to analyze key issues and synthesize concrete outputs towards accelerating Internet development in Nigeria.

ngNOG is Nigeria’s foremost capacity-building and human networking activity for ICT personnel and other Internet stakeholders. In fourteen previous editions, the workshops have enabled collaboration and sharing of experience within the Nigerian communication technology ecosystem.

You would be joining the interaction with key players in the Internet Industry. ngNOG has also helped to bring global best practices to networking in Nigerian Higher Education. ngNOG Workshop on Network Technology offers training to those who are in the process of developing and enhancing and managing an Internet-connected network with local and international connectivity.

The target audience includes mid-level and senior technical staff of research and education networks, public and private networks, commercial Internet Service Providers (ISPs), NGOs and other stakeholders. This workshop is a domestication of the AfNOG workshops held annually from 2000 to 2009 in ten different African countries, and also the Internet Society’s INET workshops, held annually from 1993 to 2000 at eight locations around the world.

The workshop’s instructors are a team of highly skilled individuals with many years of experience operating medium to large networks both in the academic and private sector and teaching about network operations.

With a pool of veteran, professionals and experts to be announced soon on the lineup of speakers, facilitators and panelists, this year’s conference and workshop which will mark it’s fifteenth edition is poised to attract high profiled delegates, government personnels and key ecosystem leaders who will share, connect and network.
