How might the government use insights from geospatial data to accelerate effective decision making in delivering better public services in Nigeria?’

You can answer this question by participating in the Data4Governance Challenge.

This event is a 3-day Design-for-Development hackathon scheduled to hold from February 17th to February 19th, 2020.

10 Teams will compete to leverage data to create compelling narratives, visualisations and models that will be used by the government to improve service delivery and by citizens to promote political participation in governance.

We are bringing together hackers across the areas of Design, Data Science, Data Analytics, Software Development, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to build models and prototypes to illuminate an immense amount of data on Nigeria.

The top 3 teams with the best visualizations will be awarded cash prizes in 3 categories:

1st Price – $10,000

2nd Price $6,000

3rd Price – $4,000

Register your team (maximum of 5 members per team) here to be selected to compete in the Data4Governance hackathon.

Applications close February 13th by 6 PM.
