Day 2 of the Startup Port harcourt week was amazing, with 2 major events – the Hackathon with the theme ‘Ease of doing business’ and the Innovation tour to some tech hubs in Port-Harcourt. There were representatives from the Rivers State Ministry of Youth Development, bloggers, media and the private sector. Also present were the Special Adviser to the Governor on ICT and the Co-Founder, Cinfores, Mr. Ibifuro Asawo and the SA to the Deputy Governor on Social Media, Uki Asemota

Hackathon –
For the Hackathon, eight Hubs were duly represented to Hack the Ease of Doing Business, they are: Team- ICE Hub Team- Ken Saro Wiwa Innovation Hub Team – SnapiLABs Team – YeloCode Team- Bubble Coworking Team – Olotu Square Team – Rudigo Team – Strategic Hub
Ken Saro Wiwa Foundation Hub
The innovation tour commenced with the Ken Saro Wiwa Foundation Hub, where a representative of the Hub, ThankGod Okorisha welcomed the guests. The hub incubatees also made a presentation on how the hub can be used to drive employment opportunities

Of course at the end of the day, the best way to cap it was the best of Port-Harcourt cuisine. Nothing to end a fun filled and innovative day like some good food!
The events continued today with SnapiLabs announced as the winners of the Hackathon with a N150,000 cash prize and an opportunity to pitch to the Federal Government Committee on Ease of doing business. Congrats guys!
